Anna Nicole Smith Tribute

What was your opinion on Anna Nicole Smith? Did you love her or hate her?

For me I have to say I always felt drawn to Anna. As a women I thought she was stunning. But what really grabbed me was when I saw an interview with the young girl Vicky Lynn before she was the Anna Nicole Smith and my thought was she looked like your normal teenage girl, and spoke with self awareness and intelligence. Then seeing how she ended up made me feel bad for her. I feel people took advantage of her in many ways, they saw dollar signs and did what they needed to do to get Anna to do what they needed from her. No I am not saying she was innocent in it all but I do feel she was used, just as Marilyn Monroe was.

Anna was born in 1967. She was born Vicky Lynn Hogan, She was primarily raised by her mother and her aunt. After she failed as a freshman she then dropped out of high school her sophomore year. She moved in with her aunt. While working at Jim's Crispy Chicken she met her first husband Billy Wayne Smith she was 17 her was 16. They got married, The next year she had Daniel her son, 2 years later the marriage ended she then moved to Houston,

She worked at Wal-Mart and later as a waitress at Red Lobster. Before long she became an exotic dancer at a nightclub in Houston. Anna enter her photos in a search contest. It was at that point the Anna was chosen by Hugh Heffner to appear on the cover of Playboy. She became one of Playboy's most popular models, Anna began to morph into a woman with a more voluptuous look. She underwent breasts enhancement. Appeared in Playboy numerous times, in 1993 she was playmate if the year. It was at that time she was offered a modeling contract by Guess Jeans. From that time her life became very public and at times very controversial.

At age 26, in 1991 she met a man named J Howard Marshall, at a topless club she was working in. He and she married in 1994, he was 63 years her senior. Everyone perceived her as a gold digger. Annas response was "Nobody has ever respected me and done things for me and loved me. So when J Howard Marshall came along it was a blessing he is the only person in my life who does care. He truly loves me, and I love him for it"

. Anna became a model for H & M a Swedish co. They posted life size pictures up on buildings in Europe, it is said that there were 18 car accidents in different European cities, due to those ads. Anna had other modeling jobs, and hosted her own show on "E". J Marshall died in 1995 it was at that point the Anna became embattled with his family over his estate. Which by the way was just settled in June 2011 with nothing going to Anna's heir.

In 2002 she was host of her own talk show, on 'E'. In an attempt to lose a bit of weight she became spokesperson for diet pill co Trim spa.

But her off camera life was outta control. She was the subject many tabloid stories. It seemed anytime she was on tv,she appeared more and more to be under the influence of some sort of substance, slurring and stumbling at times.

In 2006 Anna appears in a home video slurring her words and definitely was on something. In an attempt to get off the drugs she checked into a treatment center which she ended up leaving. on September, 6 , 2006, she gave birth to her baby girl Dannilynn in the Bahamas. Three days later her son was found unconscious he died, and the death was declined suspicious. It was Later was announced he died from an overdose from antidepressants.

It appears from that moment on Anna Nicole plunged into a fast haze filled spiral downward, and no one was there to think to offer a parachute. At this same time a fight ensued over who was the babies father. Howard Stern attorney /partner or Larry Birkhead who claims he was told by Anna that he was childs father. Larry files a paternity suit. Daniel is buried in the bahamas, and Anna is devastated over the loss of her son. A few months later Anna is hospilized because of pneumonia and a collapsed lung. Larry Berkhead said 2 years before her death from an overdose he asked physicians about Anna drug use he was told it was all under control. Larry Birkhead said he believed the Anna was addicted to methadone and other painkillers,

It has been said that is the final days leading to her death she was unable to walk, talk or eat, she was so out of it because of the drugs she was being given. But no one saw fit to get her to a hospital? Why? Was it because they knew they would be in serious trouble for the part they were playing?

On January9, 2007 at 39 Anna died of an drug cocktail overdose. Even after her death she was shown little dignity, with people fighting over her body.

In April 2007 Larry Berkhead is named Dannilynn's dad based on DNA results. Anna Nicole's doctors and her boyfriend Howard Stern were ordered to stand trial for prescribing illegal drugs to Anna, the verdict was basically with Stern and a doctor being convicted but, basically receiving a slap on the hand for their involvement. Some of the doctors were not convicted.

I was sad when I heard the news, I felt everyone had chewed her up and then spit her out. I honestly think she lost her will to live after Daniel died. My thought was he was the only one who she felt really cared about her, she felt that others were just using her, and I feel she was right.
